Kathmandu, April 15: After an understanding among the all-party representatives, the tense situation in Brigunj was normalized on Monday, the New Year's Day.

The local administration lifted a curfew order from 1 am on Monday. The groups involved in the dispute reached a five-point agreement not disturbing any activities of each other’s community.

The Muslim community protested against the Hindu community while carrying out a rally on the occasion of the Hanuman Jayanti on Saturday.
