Freedom of speech is a natural right of every citizen. In a democracy, there is freedom of opinion. "While exercising this right, the government has done a great injustice by detaining party leaders Rabindra Mishra and Dhaval Shumsher," Rana said on Friday.
The party will hold pressure programs on the streets to release detained Vice-Chairman Mishra, Member of Parliament Rana, and other nationalists, as former party Chairman Rana said while addressing a team of RPP leaders and central office bearers at his residence on Friday.
The recent meeting of the executive committee of RPP had decided that the government should release the two leaders within 24 hours, and if they are not released, RPP will launch a movement.
The RPP leaders expressed the view that in accordance with the party's decision, RPP should hold nationwide street demonstrations for the release of leaders implicated in false cases, unite with all nationalist forces and launch a decisive movement for the restoration of the constitutional monarchy and the Sanatan Hindu Kingdom.
The leaders and activists of RPP, who were present at the residence of leader Rana, said that RPP should join the movement with the national flag.

RPP leaders present at Rana's residence were General Secretary Kunti Shahi, Bagmati Province Chief Vikram Thapa, Spokesperson Sagun Sundar Lavati, Executive Committee Member Karan Bahadur Shahi, Deputy General Secretary Rabindra Pratap Shah, Senior Central Members Jagat Gauchan and Rajaram Shrestha, Kathmandu District Chairman Nawaraj Sinkhada, and Youth Leader Raju Lohani. They opined that the movement was the need of the hour and the country could not turn back from the movement and change.
