
Kathmandu, April 12: The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has awarded Nabil Bank Limited as the highest tax-paying bank at a special program held on the occasion of its 59th Annual General Meeting and Industry Commerce Day, 2081.
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli presented the award to Manoj Kumar Gyawali, Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Bank. On the occasion, the Bank has been honored with a certificate of appreciation for its contribution to the country's economy by paying the highest tax from among the banks, financial institutions and the insurance business sector in the fiscal year 2079/80. The Government of Nepal also honored Nabil Bank with a certificate as the highest tax-paying bank in the fiscal year 2079/80 from among the banks, financial institutions and the insurance sector on the occasion of this year's National Tax Day.
Nabil Bank has previously been awarded as the highest tax-paying bank in the fiscal years 2079/80, 2067/68, 2070/71, 2071/72, 2073/74, 2075/76, 2076/77 and 2077/78.
