Kathmandu, April 12: The Mega Campaign for the Protection of Nation, Nationality, Religion, Culture and Citizenship has called for the immediate release of its central president Durga Prasain.

Premdeep Limbu, secretary of the organization department of the Mega Campaign, issued a statement on Friday warning to launch a nationwide protest if Prasain is not released immediately.

He also said Chairman Prasai, who is also the commander of the Joint People's Movement Steering Committee, claimed that Prasain had surrendered to the Police following the advice of human rights activists, civil society and legal experts for the benefit of the country and the people.
