Kathmandu, April 12: The Parsha District Administration Office in Birgunj has imposed a curfew after a confrontation between two groups.

The Office has imposed a curfew around Bhedia Chowk, Sirsiya Bridge, Gandak Chowk and Shankaracharya Gate in main city of Birgunj effective from 6.30 pm today to 12 noon tomorrow.

While observing the Hanuman Jayenti at Chhapkayia, a clash between the two groups took place. After the situation became uncontrolled, the district office imposed a curfew to bring the situation under control.

Some shops and one motorbike were damaged after the conflict between the two groups.
