
Kathmandu, April 11: The Parliamentary Committee for Law, Justice and Human Rights has asked the government to form a probe committee on the March 28 Tinkune violence and punish those responsible for it.
Chairman of the Committee, Bimala Subedi has instructed the government stating that serious violations of human rights have been witnessed at the Tinkune incident. She also instructed the government to provide compensation to the families of those who have died and make effective the treatment process of the victims.
Earlier, Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak had briefed about the March 28 incident to the Committee.
