
Kathmandu, April 10: The Joint People's Movement for Restoration of the Monarchy has expressed a commitment to restore the institution in the country. The committee under the coordination of Dr Jagman Gurung held a commitment assembly in Dhumbarahi on Wednesday.
As Navaraj Subedi, coordinator of the committee, is under house arrest, the Wednesday meeting was held under the acting chair Gurung.
RPP Nepal’s chairman Kamal Thapa, RPP’s senior leader Prakash Chandra Lohani, and Unified Nationalist Power Campaign Chief Keshar Bahadur Bista, among others, were present at the commitment assembly. They also addressed the assembly saying that restoration of monarchy has become obvious to save the nation and end present chaos and anomalies.
