Kathmandu, April 6: The Narayangadh-Butwal road section has been closed for road expansion in the Daunne area. The decision was taken at a meeting of the Eastern and Western Stakeholders in Nawalparasi on Saturday.

It has been decided to carry out the road expansion work by prohibiting the movement of non-essential vehicles from 11: 00 am to 3: 00 pm from April 9 to 13 and from 11: 00 pm to 5: 00 am from April 14 to 28.

It has been decided to work by closing the movement of traffic for a few hours daily in order to facilitate the smooth operation of traffic by carrying out necessary maintenance in Daunne portion and to complete the remaining work of cutting hills in that section before the rain, the project said.
