
Kathmandu, April 3: Last respects have been paid to Deepak Bohara, a senior leader of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) and member of the House of Representatives, who passed away on Tuesday. His mortal remains were kept at the party office on Wednesday and last respects were paid by party workers and well-wishers. Bohara’s last rites were performed at Pashupati Aryaghat the same evening.
Bohara, who had been undergoing voice therapy for a long time, passed away on Tuesday morning. The body of RPP leader Bohara was taken to his home district in Rupandeshi on Tuesday. The body was brought to Kathmandu after the tribute program in Rupandehi. Leader Bohara had won the election of the Parliament from Rupandehi constituency number 3 in the 2079 BS elections. The RPP has expressed grief over Bohara’s death and will observe three days of mourning.
