Kathmandu, April 1: President Ram Chandra Paudel has concluded the winter session of Parliament. President's Office Spokesperson Shailaja Regmi Bhattarai informed that the current session of both the houses of the federal parliament is going to be ended from 12: 00 pm on Tuesday, April 1, on the recommendation of the Government of Nepal and the Council of Ministers, in accordance with sub-section (2) of Article 93 of the Constitution of Nepal.

A meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Monday decided to recommend to President Paudel to end the winter session from 12 pm on Tuesday, April 1. According to Article 93 of the Constitution, the President convenes and prorogues the Parliament on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers. The session of Parliament is to be ended after the government brought five ordinances passed by both houses.
