
Kathmandu, March 30: The government has rwduced the security team of former King Gyanendra Shah. The Ministry of Home Affairs has deployed only 16 members slashing out from previous 25 members of the Armed Police Force (APF) for the security of former King Gyanendra at the Nirmal Niwas.
The Ministry has removed the team led by DSP Jagdish Hamal of the Armed Police Force and deployed a 16-member team under the command of DSP Pramod Prakash Pathak effective from Friday, March 28.
Meanwhile, it is reported that the former King is under an unannounced house arrest and the government is processing for disqualifying the former King’s passport.
