Kathmandu, March 29: A protest sit-in was held at Maitighar Mandala on Friday over the death of journalist Suresh Rajak during the demonstration at Tinkune.

The participants of the protest organized by the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) demanded immediate arrest of the culprits and stern action against them.

Rajak, a cameraperson for Avenues Television, was found charred to death on Friday while covering the movement of the demonstration program organized by the pro-monarchy groups.

The Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) and other organizations have urged the government to conduct an impartial inquiry into the incident and punish the culprits.
