Kathmandu, March 28: The Kathmandu District Administration has imposed a curfew around the Tinkune area after the uncontrolled mass carried out destructive works including setting ablaze in private properties.

Curfew has been imposed from Shantinagar to the Manahora River via Jadibuti, according to Chief District Officer Rishiram Tiwari.

The Police have dispersed pro-monarchy demonstrators.

The Police opened fire after the demonstration went uncontrolled.

Several demonstrators have been wounded and they are undergoing treatment in different hospitals.

The demonstration organizing committee suspects that there was an infiltration of the directive elements in the demonstration organized peacefully, aimed at making unsuccessful to the pro-monarchy movement.
