Kathmandu, March 27: The 204th Greek Independence Day was observed at the Nuwakot House in Sanepa, Lalitpur. On the occasion, a bicycle rally was organized led by Manoj Newa Khadki, President of the Nepal-Greece Friendship and Culture Association. The rally started from Basantapur Durbar Square in Kathmandu and took a round to the Patan Durbar Square in Lalitpur to the Consulate General of Greece, Nuwakot House in Sanepa.

On the occasion of Independence Day, the Association also organized a food festival at the Basantapur Durbar Square in Kathmandu.

On the occasion, the Consulate General of Greece, Shriman Bikram Pandekaji, hoisted the national flag of Greece at the premises of the Consulate General’s Office in Sanepa.
