Kathmandu, March 25: Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balen Shah has warned to burry all in Tukucha River if KMC staffers do not receive their salaries within a week.

On Monday evening, he wrote on social media expressing his anger over the non-payment of salaries of the KMC employees for the last three months. He pointed out that the employee’s salary was stopped due to the arrogance of the government.

"The sanitation workers of Kathmandu Metropolitan City have not received their salaries for three months, due to the arrogance of this government," he wrote, "I don't know who runs what movements. But now, in a week's time, if our employees don't get their salaries, I will burry them in Tukucha River," the Mayor stated.

Hinting at the political party, Mayor Shah further wrote," "Then let's see what kind of system you have."
