
Kathmandu, March 25: The Kathmandu Technical School has been established under the joint venture between the IME Group and IXI Corp. The School, inaugurated by Labor Minister Bhandari today aims to produce 10,000 skilled manpower annually.
The school is established in Kathmandu to meet the demand for skilled manpower in the job market.
Minister Bhandari inaugurated the school at a special ceremony held at the premises of Kathmandu Technical School in Dhumbarahi, Kathmandu.
This school will conduct training in more than three dozen job-oriented and self-employment categories, including Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Caregiving, Barista, and Bar tending.
The school aims to produce more than 1 lakh skilled manpower and professionals in the next one decade.
In its two-and-a-half-decade business journey, IME Group has undertaken a number of industries and projects in the banking and financial sector, insurance, tourism and hospitality, tourism infrastructure, hydropower, manufacturing, among others.
