Kathmandu, March 24: Former King Gyanendra Shah, who was on a visit to Gorkha, has returned to Kathmandu. He has been given a grand welcome in Kathmandu.

He was welcomed at Samakhusi Chowk on Sunday evening. Shah, who returned to Kathmandu via Nuwakot, Shivapuri on his way back from Gorkha, was welcomed by cadres of the pro-monarchy group Shahi Yuva Shakti Nepal. In Gorkha, former King Shah had offered prayers at the Gorakhkali, Gorakhnath and Manakamana temples.

King Gyanendra has urged all the Nepalis to be united to save the nation.
