
Kathmandu, March 21: Moldovan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Mihai Popsoi, who is visiting Nepal, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
The meeting held on Thursday at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar discussed bilateral relations and interests. They also discussed cooperation in the areas of climate change, education, culture, and expanding trade relations.
Prime Minister Oli urged Popsoi to participate in the Sagarmatha Dialogue program to be held in Kathmandu from May 16 to 18 on the issue of climate change, focusing on saving the Himalayas to the sea. Chief Advisor to the Prime Minister Bishnu Prasad Rimal, and Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ganesh Prasad Dhakal were also present during the meeting.
