
Kathmandu, March 20: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Badri Prasad Pandey, who is visiting Cambodia, has discussed a partnership between Nepal and Cambodia to build a religious tourism network, direct air flights, and a larger Buddha circuit.
Minister Pandey held talks with Cambodian Minister of Tourism Huat Hak and Minister of Culture and Religious Affairs Chai Borin on Tuesday.
In a meeting held at the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Religious Affairs of Cambodia, the Minister said that as soon as he landed in Cambodia, he was able to see idols of Lord Ganesha on street corners, just like in Nepal. He discussed possible future collaboration between the two countries to build a common pilgrimage site or religious network and operating direct flight between the two countries.
