
Kathmandu, March 19: A person has been arrested from Kathmandu with more than Rs 250 million worth of foreign currencies. The Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office Teku team arrested a person with the said amount from the Jhor area of Tokha Municipality-1 on Monday night.
Office Chief Senior Superintendent of Police Ramesh Basnet said that the amount of money was recovered from the arrested person. According to him, Nepali rupees, US dollars, euros and other currencies of various countries were recovered from the truck with the number Na 1 Kha 1652, but the name of the arrested person has not been disclosed.
