Pushpakamal Dahal Prachanda’s recent accusation indicated towards the deposed king Gyanendra is a reflection of a defeat mentality. He said that he would arrest those involved in the Palace bloodbath if he would have a chance to become the prime minister for five years. Questions arise that why he remained silent when he became the executive chief of the nation time and again! Why he didn’t initiate an investigation into the Palace massacre, is a burning question.

These days Indian leaders and intellectuals are debating the Nepal issue. They are blaming the Indian Congress and communist leaders for sponsoring the Maoists in the so-called people’s war. Also, some former RAW officers are claiming that Pushpakamal Dahal and Baburam Bhattarai worked for Indian intelligence. Dahal was the guest of RAW in Jawalpur, India. Clearly, the Indo-West Christian lobby was active in the removal of the institution of monarchy and declared Nepal a secular nation. The 12-point Delhi agreement among the parliamentary parties and the terrorist-declared Maoists was drafted by RAW and South Block led by anti-Nepal bureaucrats/diplomats Shyam Sharan and Ranjit Re. They also have explained their active involvement in declaring Nepal a secular federal republic in the process of weakening and finally destroying Nepal. These black-and-white historical facts are recorded in their books. Also, S. D. Muni, an anti-Nepal scholar has explained how Dahal and Bhattarai were used by India. These Maoist leaders played a traitor’s role in their personal interests. As a reward, Dahal was able to become the prime minister of Nepal again and again.

Dahal is not a clean person. Even Baburam Bhattarai, his party colleague, has blamed Dahal for manipulating the fund allotted for the adjustment of the PLAs. More seriously, Dahal is accused of being responsible for the killing of above seventeen thousand innocent people in the name of the “people’s war”. Nepal accepted such a person who was serving the foreign country’s interests and killing innocent Nepalis as the executive head of the government by forgiving all his past crimes. Now, the country has reached on the verge of collapse. The very Nepalis have become aware of the future of the country and thus seeking a change to rescue their motherland. We know, today, those groups enjoying the cream of the secularism, federalism and republicanism have become unpopular due to their own criminal and corrupt activities. When they see a dark future for their politics, they are scared and create false propaganda. However, the patriotic Nepalis are not going to be fooled again and again.
