Kathmandu, March 18: Former Prime Minister and Chairman of the Maoist Center, Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, has proposed that pro-republican parties should unite to counter the pro-monarchy forces.

In an informal conversation with Prime Minister and UML Chairman KP Oli and former Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, Prachanda proposed moving forward together.

Prachanda’s personal secretary Govinda Acharya said that dialogues have been initiated at various levels with Oli and Deuba to thwart the royalist forces’ conspiracy against the republic. However, he claimed that there was no direct meeting between the three leaders.
