Kathmandu, March 15: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) senior vice-president Rabindra Mishra has said that the country would go on an unexpected path if the monarchy was still banned.
“If the big leaders of the big parties use cheap words about the monarchy as used by Prachanda yesterday and still try to ban the monarchy, then the country will go on an unexpected path,” Mishra wrote on the social network Facebook on Saturday morning.
Mishra also said that in the context of Nepal, the alternative to “looktantra” is not advanced “loktantra” but ‘advanced democracy’.
Prachanda, Chairman of the Maoist Center, who is scared of the movement for restoration of a Hindu kingdom gaining momentum, attempted to make false and baseless accusations against the deposed King Gyanendra on Friday.
Responding to Prachanda’s statement, Mishra replied to him.
