Kathmandu, March 10: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman Rajendra Lingden challenged the UML and the Nepali Congress to gather a crowd like the one seen welcoming former King Gyanendra Shah on Sunday in Kathmandu.

On Sunday, a large number of pro-Hindu Kindom people gathered at the Tribhuvan International Airport in support of former King Gyanendra. Chairman Lingden challenged the ruling parties to gather such a crowd without sending buses or spending money.

Television journalist Rajendra Baniya had asked Lingden on the Yaksha Prashan program, “Has the king arrived?” after seeing the crowd at the airport.

Responding journalist Baniya, Lingden urged the NC and the communists to reach a new understanding by giving the king a guardian role.
