
Kathmandu, March 10: Senior Vice Chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), Rabindra Mishra, has proposed to the political parties to develop a new understanding for a democracy having an institution of monarchy. He also warned the government of facing an unexpected outcome if it tried to suppress the call for the restoration of the institution of monarchy. He said that a new understanding is essential when looking at the country’s present plight and its dark future.
The future of the country is very bleak, the country is recognized as the most corrupt nation in the world, and youth are flying abroad when they see no future in the country, he said.
“The country needs an institution above politics as a symbol of unity, a symbol of identity and a symbol of sovereignty and justice, Mishra said.
Mishra also warned the political leaders in power that they should be aware of recent unrest in Syria, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
