
Kathmandu, March 6: Agni Kharel has been appointed an expert advisor to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. A cabinet meeting held in Baluwatar on Wednesday evening appointed Kharel, a former law minister, as an expert adviser.
Kharel, who was a member of the UML standing committee, was appointed attorney general when Oli was prime minister in the past. Kharel was a member of the Constituent Assembly in 2064 and 2070 BS.
Senior advocate Kharel, who is from Gauradaha-3, Jhapa, the electoral constituency of PM Oli, is active in the legal field and also became the general secretary of the Bar Association.
