
Kathmandu, March 6: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) spokesperson and House of Representatives member Gyan Bahadur Shahi (Gyanendra Shah) has called the Kathmanduities for their presence at the Tribhuvan International Airport to welcome King Gyanendra on Falgun 25 (March 9).
Addressing a press conference organized at the Reporters Club Nepal on Thursday, he said that former King Gyanendra Shah is scheduled to return to Kathmandu from Pokhara this coming Sunday.
He said, “I would like to sincerely appeal to all nationalist friends to receive King Gyanendra at the Tribhuvan International Airport to greet the former King”.
Leader Shahi said that the institution of monarchy is essential for national unity, prestige and glory.
Similarly, Pashupati Khadka, Chairman of Royal Youth Power Nepal, said that King Gyanendra sought the support of the people to protect democracy, the country, and the people. He called the republic a corona pandemic. He urged the common citizens to unite under the national flag and come in favor of the monarchy. “If 20 percent of the people living in Kathmandu come out carrying the national flag, deposed King Gyanendra can be brought back to the Narayanhiti Palace on Sunday.
