Former King Gyanendra, in his address to the countrymen on the eve of National democracy Day, Falgun 7, had described the present scenario saying that we are removing the historical glory. When we see the government's performance and foreigners’ attitude toward us, the former King described the country's situation properly.
The country’s foreign policy has become so weak that we, the Nepalis, are being humiliated everywhere. We saw reports that our Foreign Minister Dr Arzu Rana requested different foreign dignitaries for the immediate release of Bippin Joshi, a student gone to Israel on the “learn and earn” program, kidnapped by the Hamas group from Israel. The whereabouts of Joshi are still unknown.
The suicide case of a Nepali student Prakriti Lamsal, in the KIIT (Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology), Odisha, India, and the University staffers brutally beating the Nepali students are being denounced by the Indian media. Foreign Minister Deuba is frequently talking to the Indian government authorities to investigate the suicide case and humiliation of other Nepali students.
Out of around 1500 Nepali students in the KIIT, most of them returned to their homes to escape the physical action against them by those gangsters deployed by the University authority. Students returned from Odisha are holding press conferences in Nepal demanding an investigation into the attitude of the University authorities.
Video clippings about torturing Nepali students and also about Nepal by the University authorities have become viral. “You Nepali folk get out from our university! Our university’s budget is larger than the budget of your country”, we can hear and watch videos.
There is the government of the major two parties. The leaders in the ruling party are keeping mum about such humiliating behavior against the Nepali students. It is very much surprising that what are those student organizations belonging to different parties doing?
American President Donald Trump explained Nepal as a corrupt country involved in fraud. Not a single leader either in the government or in the opposition parties, has reacted against such blame. President Trump has temporarily suspended the grants under the USAID and MCC.
Above 90% of the American grants were spent directly by the American officials belonging to the American “deep state”, for destroying Nepal. Those political leaders, civil society leaders and media persons, enjoying the American grants were used to destroy this glorious Nepal. Now, they might have been praying for the resumption of the American grants earliest as possible as such a halt on grants may end the source of earning easy money for them. If the leaders had guts, they could have constituted a probe commission to investigate on recipient of the American grants and where was it spent. Also, if the leaders had the courage, they would banned all suspicious INGOs or monitor their activities very closely.
As we have been continuously saying that the present day political leaders are very corrupt, this is the outcome of the present political system. We cannot expect good governance from the leaders of the day. Nepal has once again fallen in the gray list of the FATF, an international agency monitoring money laundry in all the countries. This is an example that corruption and financial crime are rampant in Nepal. This is also the example that Nepal is losing its international credibility in all sectors.
Evidences have confirmed that this is a fraud system based on daylight loot by the brokers manipulating anarchist leaders, which is defined a socialism, however, it is the socialism “by the leaders, for the leaders and of the leaders”.
