
Kathmandu, February 16: The meeting of the House of Representatives is taking place today. The meeting will be held at the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwor from 1 pm.
According to the Parliament Secretariat, Speaker Devraj Ghimire is scheduled to read out the letter to the Prime Minister and the Cabinet Office.
In today’s meeting, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to respond to the questions asked by the lawmakers in accordance with Section 9 of the House of Representatives Rules, 2079.
Similarly, Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak will present a proposal to hold a general discussion on the Nepal Citizenship (Second Amendment) Bill, 2081, while Forest and Environment Minister Ain Bahadur Shahi Thakuri will present a proposal to hold a general discussion on the Montreal Protocol Kigali Amendment.
