Kathmandu, February 7: Speaker Devraj Ghimire has written a letter to Speaker of the Arab Parliament Mohammad Ahmad Al-Yamahi for the immediate release of Nepali student Bipin Joshi, who was kidnapped by Hamas from Israel.
Keeping in mind the cordial relations between Nepal and the Arab League, I request your initiative and support for the early release of Bipin Joshi, a Nepali student who has been held captive by Hamas since October 7, 2023," the letter said.

In the letter, Speaker Ghimire recalled the cordial relations between Nepal and the Arab League and expressed his belief that the Arab League would help Bipin Joshi to return home safely.
