Kathmandu, January 7: Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal (RPP-N) Chairman Kamal Thapa has said it is surprising that the RPP was indifferent to party unification.

He said this while addressing a virtual meeting of the party with office-bearers, members and district chairmen of Lumbini, Western Region, Far-Western Region and Karnali region.

He said that this is an important time for parties, groups and individuals having similar beliefs should be united and launch a campaign together. Every individual is important for achieving our goals, Thapa said.

They may have some internal problems with their (RPP leaders) own, which is no longer something we know. Although there is no immediate unification with RPP, RPP-Nepal will now go for agitation by holding discussions with other campaigns, groups and parties to get the party goals, keeping the door of unity open," he said.

He said it was time to move ahead by holding discussions with all those who are ready to go to the movement honestly by focusing on principles. "Now is a favorable time to set the agenda," Thapa said.
