
Kathmandu, February 4: President Ramchandra Paudel has appointed Damodar Khadka as a member of the Judicial Council. On Monday, the President’s Office issued a statement saying that President Paudel has appointed Khadka as a member of the Council.
According to Article 153 of the Constitution of Nepal, the spokesperson of the President’s Office Shailaja Regmi Bhattarai informed that senior advocate Khadka, a resident of Budhanilkanth Municipality-4 in Kathmandu, has been appointed as a member of the Judicial Council on the recommendation of the Nepal Bar Association.
The name of Khadka, who was recommended by the Nepal Bar Association as a member of the Judicial Council, was unanimously approved by the parliamentary hearing committee on Sunday.
