Kathmandu, February 2: India has allotted 7 billion Indian rupees as grant support for Nepal in the new fiscal year. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaram, presenting the budget for the new fiscal year in India, allotted grant support for neighboring countries.  India continued providing financial support for neighboring countries from the union budget.

In the budget presented by the Indian Finance Minister, a total of 54.83 billion Indian rupees has been allotted for grant support for the neighboring countries. From this budget, Nepal is to receive seven billion Indian rupees.
