Kathmandu, January 26: On the occasion of India’s 76th Republic Day, Nepal’s Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba have extended congratulations to their Indian counterparts.

Prime Minister Oli wrote on his official X account today congratulating Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the people of India on the occasion of the Republic Day.

“May the ideals of democracy and national unity always flourish and deepen the bonds of friendship between our two nations,” he tweeted.

Foreign Minister Dr. Arzou Rana conveyed her best wishes to Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and wished the people and government of India continued progress, prosperity and progress. She said Nepal-India relations are based on centuries-old shared history, mutual respect and cooperation, and expressed her commitment to further strengthen these ties in the days to come.
