Kathmandu, January 24: The newly appointed ambassadors from four countries presented their letters of credence to President Ramchandra Paudel on Thursday.

The newly appointed ambassadors of Japan, Turkmenistan, the People’s Democratic Republic of Laos and the Islamic Republic of Iran have presented the letter of credence to President Paudel at a special program organized at the Sittal Niwas, President’s House.

The newly appointed ambassadors Maeda Toru of Japan, Shalar Geldinazarov of Turkmenistan, Baunmi Vanmani of Laos and Dr. Iraz Elahi of Iran presented their letter of credence to President Paudel.

On that occasion high-ranking officials of the Government of Nepal were also present, said spokesperson of the President’s Office, Shailaja Regmi Bhattarai.

The newly appointed ambassadors were taken from Hotel Dusit Princess in Kathmandu to Rashtrapati Bhavan on a buggy.
