Kathmandu, January 18: The Chinese Embassy here is observing the Chinese New Year and the Visit Nepal Year 2025 for one month in Nepal. The event launched today by organizing a colorful cultural program in the historical city of Bhaktapur this afternoon. The cultural events are being organized by the Chinese Embassy in collaboration with the Nepal Tourism Board, National Sports Council, Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Bhaktapur Municipality and Nepal Overseas Chinese Association, among others.
A New Year Parade is being organized in Thamel, Kathmandu on January 19. A Chinese light ceremony is being displayed in Thamel from Sunday for one month.
A special program is being organized on January 23 at the Hotel Yak & Yeti.
The Embassy, in collaboration with different organizations, is also observing a variety of programs on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, Nepal and China.
