Kathmandu, January 13: The 26th annual general meeting of the Machhapuchhre Bank Limited held on Sunday endorsed the annual report for the financial year 2080/81 BS.
The General Assembly elected unopposed Manisha Bhandari, Jaymukund Khanal and Sunil Narayan Shrestha as members of the Bank’s Board of Directors. The General Assembly also passed a resolution to re-appoint GP Rajbahak & Co. as the Bank’s auditor.
In the General Assembly, Roshan KC, Chairman of the bank, said that along with the development of technology, the Bank is adopting new technologies to provide risk-free services to customers while reducing the challenges that arise in it.
Santosh Koirala, the chief executive officer of the bank, said that the bank is emphasizing sustainable banking rather than profit. He said that the bank is constantly striving to provide quality services at the international standard keeping in mind the needs of the customers.
