Kathmandu, January 10: Dr. Bhim Rawal, who was expelled from the UML recently, has said that all the patriots should move forward unitedly to prevent the foundation of the country from collapsing.
Speaking at a program organized on the eve of Great King Prithvi Narayan Shah's birth anniversary and National Unity Day on Thursday, leader Rawal said that those who are cultivating corruption by abusing authority while remaining in the government have exploited the blood shed by martyrs for the country and people.
He said, "King Prithivi Narayan Shah had laid a solid foundation for a sovereign country. It is our responsibility to protect the foundation laid by King Prithivi”.
“All patriotic people should move forward unitedly to protect the foundation from collapsing”, Rawal said.
“The martyrs shed their blood for the country and the people. Today, under the guise of their blood, those leaders in the government are cultivating corruption,” Rawal said.
He said, "Those who run the government and hold big positions are involved in such heinous jobs of selling the Nepali people and eating money by making fake refugees; ministers going to the airport in Japan to sell Nepalis there, grabbing government land”.
“The Prime Minister's Office has become a weapon of some so-called media experts for the benefit of a particular person,", he said. He also described Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli as a blindfolded ruler. Rawal said, “Oli is presenting the impression that all the people are stupid, only I am omniscient”.
