Kathmandu, January 9: Former King Gyanendra Shah released a video message on Thursday on the eve of the birth anniversary of Prithvi Narayan Shah and national unity day on Pous 27 (January 11), saying that no one can do anything to Nepal if we adopt the guidance of the nation builder, Great King Prithivi Narayan Shah.

He also said that Nepal does not need to follow any foreign policy and philosophy imposed by foreign countries if we respect and follow the policies formulated by King Prithivi Narayan Shah the Great. It is time to ask why some of our brothers and sisters are relying on foreign-made arguments, the King said in the video.

Former King Gyanendra Shah has also mentioned that Nepal achieved the concept of nationalism and economic prosperity from Divya Upadesha (Divine Counsel) three centuries ago.

Although it is necessary to keep all Nepalis happy and satisfied, it is worth thinking about in which corner Nepal is in the world system today. He said that the value of democracy is not limited to periodic elections and independence, but it is a complete democracy with a system of nationality, public security and democracy.
