Kathmandu, January 7: An earthquake epicenter in Dinge County near Nepal-China border was 7 magnitude Richter scale at 6.50 am, stated the Mines and Geology Department.
Strong jolt was experienced in Kathmandu and eastern part of Nepal. Jolt was also experienced in the Tarai and Western districts of the country.
Further reports of damage caused by the earthquake are yet to be received.
