Kathmandu, January 2: The commercial production of the 111 MW Rasuwagadhi hydropower project has started from Tuesday, December 31.

The date of commercial production was decided by the meeting of Nepal Electricity Authority and board of directors of the Company held on Wednesday. 

Company secretary of Rasuwagadhi Hydropower Company, Naranath Neupane, informed that the electricity produced from Tuesday will be paid by the NEA according to the energy purchase agreement.
