
Kathmandu, December 30: Rastriya Prajatantra Party Nepal’s Chairman Kamal Thapa said rampant loot flourished in the name of loktantra.
Addressing a symposium on the multi-dimensional personality of King Birendra Shah, organized on the occasion of the 79th birth anniversary of King Birendra, Thapa said that the country is in danger of becoming a strategic playground of the superpower nations. Thapa complained that foreign pressure and influence have inclined taking advantage of the poor state of the country.
Talking about the present political system, Thapa said that the economic crisis, corruption, unemployment, religious conversion, etc. have become a dreaded disease. He emphasized the need for nationalist forces to unite and change the system and situation.
