
Kathmandu, December 29: Rajendra Lingden, Chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), has accused the current system has protected and promoted corruption in the country. He made this claim at a protest meeting held in Itahari, organized by the RPP Koshi Province on Saturday, December 28. Mentioning that Hindu Rashtra is indispensable, he said that democracy with a king is necessary for the country.
Stating that a weapon of money laundering has been used against Rastriya Swatantra Party Chairman Rabi Lamichhane and the same weapon is going to finish many leaders from the big parties, Lingden said.
“The weapon of money laundering has been launched against Lamichhane and it will also be launched against many leaders from big parties”, Lingden said.
Claiming that the current system has greatly protected corruption, Lingden said that the assets of all the leaders of Nepal should be investigated.
Dr. Prakash Chandra Lohani, chairman of the steering committee of the program, accused the democratic parties of eroding democracy. He claimed that the democracy is in danger due to the leadership and working style of the current Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
Claiming that the people are looking for an alternative, Dr. Lohani challenged the chairs of the three major parties to stand in Parliament and say, “They have not done corruption and have not abuse their authority in making money.
