Kathmandu, December 26: Newly appointed Nepali Ambassador to Pakistan Ms. Rita Dhital presented her Letters of Credence as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Nepal to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Asif Ali Zardari, President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, amidst a special ceremony held in Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabad, on Tuesday, December 24.

The President welcomed and congratulated Ambassador Dhital to Pakistan. While recalling his visit to Nepal, the President mentioned the beauty of Nepal and the hospitality of the Nepali people, and shared his confidence that the relations between the two friendly countries would be further strengthened during her tenure as Ambassador of Nepal to Pakistan.

On the occasion, Ambassador Dhital conveyed the best wishes and greetings of President Ramchandra Paudel for the personal health and happiness of the President and for the continued progress and prosperity of friendly people of Pakistan.

While highlighting the excellent bilateral relations existing between the two countries, the Ambassador stated that she looked forward to working closely with the Government of Pakistan towards further enhancing these relations for mutual benefits.

During the ceremony, Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch, Military Secretary of the President and other high officials of the Office of the President and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan as well as the Deputy Head of Mission, Military Attaché and the Third Secretary of the Embassy were present.
