Even as the official media continues to project Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba as moving ahead resolutely and purposefully the latest image is one of the inevitable inauguration in proximity to Indian actress Padmini Kholapuri increasing evidence is piling up suggesting that nothing the picture of the claim confidence that comes across in the official media.
Indeed in a front-page story in Left Weekly, it has been reported that NC party president Krishna Prasad Bhattarai actually prevented Deuba from throwing in the Prime Ministerial towel.
Reportedly, former Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala’s continued silence in the matter and NC general secretary Mahendra Nidhi’s public criticism compelled Deuba to think of actually rosining from office.
