Kathmandu, December 16: Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) Gen Ashok Raj Sigdel returned home on Sunday, December 15 after his official visit to India. He had left for India on December 11 at the official invitation of Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi.
He was received at the Tribhuvan International Airport by Lieutenant General Pradeep Jung KC. During his visit to India, Chief of Army Staff General Sigdel was conferred the honorary rank of General of the Indian Army by Indian President Draupadi Murmu at a ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
