Kathmandu, December 14: Chinese President Xi Jinping received the letter of credence from Dr Krishna Prasad Oli, Nepali ambassador designate for China at a special function organized on Thursday in Beijing.
The Nepal Embassy in Beijing stated that Oli presented his letter of credence to Chinese President Xi amid a special ceremony organized at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

“President Xi, welcoming the ambassadors, extended congratulations and best wishes for their successful tenure in China,” the Nepal Mission has stated.
Wang Yi, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, Director of the Office of the Central Commission for Foreign Affairs and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hong Lei, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director General of the Department of Protocol and other senior officials of the government of the People’s Republic of China were present on the occasion, the Nepal Embassy has stated.
