Kathmandu, December 13: After the postponement of the national convention the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) has decided to hold its elections today. Due to the partisan polarization, the national convention was postponed in the past.

Today, journalists will vote for the election of the central committee, ten provincial committees and 77 district committees.

Different political parties have developed alliances and contesting elections.

Devi Prasad Sapkota, Nirmala Sharma, Ramesh Bista and Lalsingh Lama have filed candidacy for the post of president of the central committee of the FNJ.
