
Kathmandu, December 8: U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs, Donald Lu, arrived in Kathmandu today.
Lu arrived in Kathmandu at 11:30 am on Sri Lankan Airlines flight UL 181. Immediately after his arrival, Lu held discussions with officials from the U.S. Embassy in Kathmandu at the Dwarika’s Hotel.
At 2 PM, he is scheduled to meet President of Nepali Congress and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, followed by a meeting with Maoist Centre Chairman and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
On Monday, he is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
