During festivals like Dashain, there is a growing trend of giving a Western touch to sarees, kurtas and lehengas. It is not necessary to wear a saree or kurta salwar for a festival like before. Sanjita Baral says that wide-leg cotton pants are the choice of many people for casual wear, but for fashion shows, a dress of a new creation should be prepared.
